Who are we? The Franklin Forum is a communications organization that provides media training and support, including message development and speaker promotion, to strengthen top progressive messengers and messaging. We train and equip voices to advance and broaden the appeal of the progressive cause — on air, online, and around the table at home. Our mission is to be a one-stop shop for talker development and support.

The Franklin Forum is also the host of the Mental Health Reform Initiative and supports its efforts to increase fairness, access, and parity through mental health reforms; scale the grassroots power of mental health activists; and end the silence around mental health to increase help-seeking behavior.

What do we do? The Franklin Forum’s integrated training and messaging infrastructure prepares leaders to tell their stories and make ideas compelling. We provide intensive media training boot camps for rising and seasoned progressive pundits and equip high-impact leaders with messaging that drives the debate and goes on offense against right-wing frames.

Why Franklin Forum? The Franklin Forum is inspired by the original American pundit, quipster and pamphleteer Ben Franklin. We provide a forum for messengers to collaborate in practicing their craft and honing our messages.
